Ammolite is a rare gemstone derived from fossil ammonites that went extinct 65 million years ago. It is found in the Bearpaw formation in Alberta, Canada. Each ammolite is unique, with colours and patterns, making it a fascinating piece.

In 1981, ammolite was recognised as a gemstone by the World Jewellery Confederation; in 2022, ammolite was honoured as Alberta’s official gemstone.
